Ada's Story

Ada is a multi-award-winning civil engineer, entrepreneur, author, and passionate advocate for STEM education and diversity in the built environment. She is a civil engineer, Director of Jona Infrastructure Advisory and she has led and contributed to a wide range of complex infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. Her experience spans the water sector, working on renowned projects such as the Northern Outfall Sewers and the Thames Tideway Tunnel; the residential sector, delivering developments in iconic locations like Carnaby Street and music venues like Kako Camden; the commercial sector, contributing to the delivery of Meta (Facebook) Headquarters in London; the aviation sector, working with British Airways at Heathrow Airport; and the rail sector, where she played a key role on the iconic High Speed 2 (HS2) project.

In addition to her technical achievements, Ada is the CEO and founder of Eng Trepreneur, a platform dedicated to empowering engineers and entrepreneurs through mentorship and resources, including her flagship initiative, the InspirEng programme. She is also the author of the children’s book A-Z in STEM: Innovation Edition, created to spark curiosity and imagination in young minds and promote STEM from an early age.

Ada has been recognised as one of the Top 50 Women in Engineering 2024 by the Women’s Engineering Society and named the ICE STEM Ambassador of the Year at both the regional and national level. She is a STEM Ambassador, QEPrize Ambassador, and an Engineering Champion for the Royal Academy of Engineering’s This is Engineeringcampaign. She regularly uses her online platforms and public speaking engagements to inspire young people and challenge stereotypes around who can succeed in engineering.

From her unconventional start as a makeup artist to becoming a respected civil engineer and project manager delivering critical infrastructure across the UK, Ada’s journey is one of resilience, purpose, and impact. Her mission is clear: to build a more innovative, inclusive, and inspired future for the next generation of engineers.
